David completed his architectural studies and became a registered architect in the U.K in 1999. As a site-based architect on several multi-residential developments, he quickly amassed a wealth of construction experience. Working closely with builders and subcontractors his attention to detail and good communication skills ensured the finished building matched the original design intent.

Prior to Trace Studio Architects, David attained the position of Associate at Nettleton Tribe Architects. During this time he has worked on a range of projects within the Brisbane CBD, and regional Queensland, in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors. This experience enabled David to qualify as an Australian architect [QLD] via the Experienced Practitioner Assessment Overseas program.

He has been particularly involved with the integration of public art into the fabric of buildings, one of these projects being a recipient of a State Commendation at the Australian Institute of Architects awards.

David brings a wealth of experience to each project. This ensures the clients expectations and requirements are incorporated into the completed project, regardless of the scale or complexity.
